Authors & readers! This forum system is kind of weak, and I'd like to make a suggestion, that it be replaced. There are a few options: Easy Suggestion: Replace this with phpBB - an open source, ad-free forum system, that you can host easily on the same site as the comic itself. Awesome suggstion - use Discourse instead. This is a more 'modern' discussion system, that feels a lot nicer than old-fashioned forum systems, but is definitely aimed at the same thing as forums. Also, if I understand it correctly, you can in fact embed it within the site itself, so your 'under-the-comic' discussions can be done in Discuss itself as well. Just some thoughts. I'm a sysadmin myself, so if folks need help with the setup aspects, just let me know! I'd also like to know if other people would like a newer forum system, given the slowness & ads here. (And yes, there is a way to copy the old forum content to a new forum).

Folks, I'm wondering who else here has seen the film "After Tiller" - it's a documentary about the few remaining late-term abortion providers in the U.S. It's named after Tiller, himself a late-term abortion provider who was killed by activisists. He was also a close friend with many of the people in this film, who see are themselves in the crosshairs as well. It's also probably the best done documentary I've ever seen. I highly, highly recommend it. It does an amazing job of humanizing all the people involved. aftertillermovie.com/screeningsIf the author(s) of this comic haven't seen After Tiller, I cannot suggest it enough.
